Scholastic Monday ~ Deck the Halls!

Scholastic MondayTheStoryStartsHere_4C_Horz

www-scholastic-caAre you singing Christmas Carols already? I know they’ve already taken over our home! From Jingle Bells to Deck the Halls, you can almost always hear at least of us humming or singing along to a Christmas carol. 😉 This year there’s a new Canadian Christmas carol out there to sing along to…

This Canadian carol is all wrapped up in this adorable book from Scholastic: Deck the Halls: A Canadian Christmas Carol, by Helaine Becker.

With this fun book you can either read or sing this cute and funny new tune with your kids. It’s a lot of fun joining in with Canada’s favourite porcupine for an unforgettable Christmas Eve party! You’ll be singing about loons, beavers, moose, decorating, wrapping gifts, eating holiday goodies, and more! At the end you’ll love the big suprise too…I won’t ruin it for you though…you’ll just have to head out and get your own copy of this great new Canadian Christmas Carol and sing along!

No, we’re not singing carols yet. I’m not a singer so I usually just let others sing them – honestly it is better that way 🙂

My daughter-in law is mad about Christmas decorations and carols too – she gets that from her mum no doubt as I’ve never seen anyone with as many decorations in one room 🙂
