Whimsy Surprises in the Mail!

Isn’t it fun to get stuff in the mail?! We love mail around here…checking the mail is an event that gets our hopes up. πŸ˜‰ Letters from penpals, and fun packages…there’s just something about getting actual mail that makes it fun and special!

In December we received a lot of exciting mail – including a box of goodies from Whimsy Mail & Putter Pails. This fun Canadian company sends out boxes every month that are filled with top-notch goodies and products that are geared specifically for tweens – boys and girls from ages 8-12. We’ve recently entered the tween years, and it truly is tough to find unique, fun products and activities for kids this age. They’re kind of in those “in-between” years, and the struggle of products being either too young for them or too old for them can be very real! This is the inspiration behind Whimsy Mail & Putter Pails. It’s a perfect gift idea or way to make your tweens feel special and like they have some new items of their very own to use and enjoy. Plus…as a parent it sure is a lot of fun to watch them open up their boxes with those looks of anticipation and excitement!

Last month’s box had some fun holiday-themed goodies in it, including some Get Lippy Gingerbread flavoured lip balm (it smells delicious and is made with all natural ingredients!), an adorable Melted Snowman DIY craft, some Wax Melts (another all-natural product!), everything you need to make aΒ  tasty Chocolate Toffee Bronwine Mug Cake and something to keep you all entertained – a hilarious “Who Am I?” game!

Imagine getting all these great products in the mail is a lot of fun. πŸ™‚ The best part is that you can subscribe to receive your own monthly Whimsy Mail & Putter Pail boxes. Each month has a different theme, and each box is filled with quality products and surprises that you’ll have a lot of fun using. It’s a great way to kick off the New Year!

I love these subscription boxes and when my girls were young I got them one and the look on their faces when they received the boxes in the mail, priceless!!

It must be like Christmas every month, especially since there’s nowhere near as much mail as there used to be. Such fun for the kids. πŸ™‚

It’s funny, my little guy is 4 and he already asks if there is anything in the mail for him, every single time we go check the mail! I mean, there’s barely any mail for me anymore but to try and have mail for him too, geesh. He does have a book club that he gets a book once a month from and anytime there’s a flyer he just assumes it’s for him. I’m going to have to get him an email then that way he can just wait for emails and spam the same as everyone else. πŸ™‚ Great post!

  4. Sounds like fun! Who wouldn’t love receiving surprises in the mail every month? Great gift idea.

  5. These subscription boxes look like a lot of fun!

  6. Oh my goodness…my son just turned 8! HE’S A TWEEN?!?!?!?! Are you serious? He’s my baby!

Having said that, he would LOVE this!

  7. Looks like great subscriptions boxes for tween, and quality ones!

Since we rarely get mail these days it would be even more exciting for children to get something addressed to them.
