Scholastic Monday ~ Mittens to Share

Mittens, mittens and mittens! I feel we often have just a few too many pairs of mittens in our home during these winter months…with most of them missing 1/2 of the pair. 😉 One story that we’ve enjoyed reading together during these mitten-filled winter months has been the Canadian title from Scholastic: Mittens to Share by Emil Sher.

Mittens to Share is one of those books that displays the wonder of the winter season through the eyes of a child…and of course, it includes the all too common happening of a mitten going missing. 🙂 You’ll love the story of what happens to the missing mitten and you’ll love how the wonder of winter is displayed so beautifully in this book.

The colorful pictures and the simple poetic text makes this a classic that your kid and your family will enjoy!
