Let’s Get Gardening!

Ahhh…summer. I’m so glad you’re almost here! Today it even felt like summer outside so you can be sure that we enjoyed and soaked in every ounce of “summer” that we could find today! In fact, we were soaking in the sun mostly while we were planting the garden. I love summer….but I also love gardening!

This year I’ve got some great new gardening tips that I’m putting to use already. Kitchen Gardening for Beginners is packed full of tips and steps to help you have the garden of your dreams! In fact, this book teaches you how to grow more than seventy different types of fruits and vegetables….and how to grow them well! Anyone can throw a couple of seeds in the ground, but not anyone can keep those plants healthy, happy and…alive! 😉 Kitchen Gardening for Beginners has all kinds of great tips for dealing with weeds, pests and diseases too. The goal of the book? To help you grow healthier and tastier fruits and vegetables.

This handy, fact-filled book will give beginning gardener the ten steps to preparing a garden plot as well as some necessary techniques you’ll need to know (such as sewing, planting, mulching, water, etc.) as well as making a compost bin of your own and more. I’ve learned quite a few things already and hoping that with the extra knowledge I’ve learned from this book, and the sweat and love that goes into caring for our garden will all help to make this our most successful gardening year yet! 🙂
