Scholastic Monday ~ 101 Outrageously Fun Things to Do

Do you like to have fun? …To do fun things with your kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids, etc.? How about doing Outrageously fun things?! That sounds extra, extra fun….don’t you think? I’m a kid at heart…so outrageously fun things immediately captures my attention and I’m ready to dive in with both feet. 😉 My only problem is that sometimes I’m just not that creative…so I need someone to put together an outrageously fun list of ideas. My dream of that came true when we discovered 101 Outrageously Fun Things to Do from Klutz (Scholastic).

101 Outrageously Fun Things to Do is DEFINITELY the kind of book that you’ll want to take along with you on a long car trip, to a waiting room, on your month long camping trip or anywhere else you may find that you need something to help fill some downtime.

This book and kit is an all-in-one survival guide to having fun anywhere, any time! It’s packed to the brim with 101 activities that kids (and even most parents!) can have a LOT of fun with. There are games, pranks (I don’t think I should let my 10 year old read these or he may just try some out on his sisters. *wink*), crafts and lots of humorous stuff too. Of course, my 10 year old son is just the right age to enjoy some fart putty. It is pretty funny….though I will admit that after a while he gets sent outside or downstairs with that fart putty. haha. 🙂 You kids will have a blast designing their own superheroes, learning secret handshakes, making their thumbs disappear!, building paper airplanes and even a cootie catcher. There’s so much outrageous fun to be had!

I highly recommend 101 Outrageously Fun Things to Do for both kids and families. It’s a great way to make memories, have fun and even be a little outrageous! 😉
