More Time Moms – Back to School Giveaway!

As much as I love finding new companies to tell you about, there’s nothing that makes me happier than doing a repeat review for a company I’ve fallen in love with! It’s great to be able to tell everything that I *still* am enjoying the products and that they will *still* be in my house in the years to come!

Today, I’m bringing More Time Mom’s back to your remembrance! I told you about them back in January when we did a New Years giveaway with them! At that time, I was pretty sure I was going to love their calendar……and their fridge list…..and the truth is – I still do! To start the school year off, I’m back to remind you of two products I love and to tell you about another that they sent me! But first, you need to watch this! I’m a stay-at-home Mom so things shouldn’t be as crazy as this ……and yet it is some days!?!

First off – the calendar. In the past, I’ve always been *so* frustrated by small boxes on calendars, by the numbers being too small or in the way, and by some boxes being filled with so many holidays that there wasn’t any space to write anything! Needless to say, since Trish from More Time Moms sent me her Family Organizer, things have been blissful! This calender includes 546 stickers for appointments, events and even rewards! It’s large – 15×11″ – which means more space to write! It’s spiral bound with the calendar spanning both pages. There’s even a pocket if you need to tuck some items away! And yes, with 9 or 10 lines to write on, there’s ample space to mark down all the appointments and sports practices and music lessons and dentist appointments and and and…… And at $16.99 this calendar is right in the ballpark of so many others, but in my world, is so much more efficient and helpful! Oh, and a quick reminder – these calendars go from September 2017 to December 2018, so no matter whether you like to start your new calendar in September or January, this one fits the bill!

The Fridge Lists. Ah. The joys of menu planning! I have a love-hate relationship with menu planning. What do I love? The reminder to pull meat out of the freezer. The ability to rotate between eating different meats and fish, to have meal soups and salads or full main courses. The grocery lists pre-made with what I need already on it. What do I hate? Oh, just one minor thing – the time taken to do the planning! What do these Fridge Lists help me with? By breaking down my menu planning into one week segments, it’s not so overwhelming. As much as I loved my one-month menu plans, they were often delayed due to my desire to not do them! Another thing I like about these lists is that because they’re a pad, if I have a meal I really want to have or a recipe I really want to try, I can still pop it into the next week! So sometimes I do work on more than one week at a time because I start drooling and want to make all these different recipes! I will confess though, given that we’re trying to build a house ourselves and it’s getting to pre-winter crunch time, the menu plan has stayed empty. Conversely, now is the time I *should* have it filled out so that I’d always have food in the slow cooker so it’s ready at suppertime! Oh well, I’ll get back into it now that the kids are back to school and we can get back into a routine! And since the pads include 48 sheets, one $9.99 pad will do you all year, unless you need those extra 4 weeks of holiday menus planned out. I think they just realize that most moms are like me – they’re not going to succeed in doing menu planning 52 weeks out of the year! Ha!

The last product that I was sent is called Chore Charts!  Yes! The mean Mom in me is cheering and clapping because more chores means less things Mom has to do! Haha! Our kids are pretty good at doing their chores – like emptying the dishwasher. However, there are other things that tend to get left behind – and it’s partly because Mom hasn’t reminded them to do it! I’m really looking forward to using these charts and finding household chores that our 4, 6 and 8 year olds can do! Maybe it’s time for an allowance to encourage them along? These charts are pretty simple – there’s the list of What To Do, a spot for the child’s name, and a place to check off each day of the week. There are four different colours of charts, so you can use the same colour for the same child all the time or you can mix it up! Also included is a sheet with 368 stickers, so you can reward with stickers if you like! You know what I love about this chart? It’s so simple. Even I can’t get confused about how to use it! Haha!

Now these three products aren’t all that More Time Moms offers! If you head to their website you’ll find a few more. There’s the fridge calendar that I reviewed last time – it’s personal preference – some of you will love the wall calendar and some will love the fridge! There’s also the Student Organizer which will keep your student so organized they’ll be done all their assignments *early*! (Oh wait, does that ever happen!?) There’s also the Mom’s Agenda – just for Mom’s, so they can keep organized beyond the calendar! Or maybe you like to have it all written down in a book that you can take with you? At 5.5×8.5″ you just might be able to slip this one in your purse! There are also sticky notes and note pads – I’m not sure anyone can run out of a use for these!? Lastly, there is the More Time Moms Cookbook! Not only does it include recipe lists, but it also includes meal plans and grocery lists!

If you’re interested, there are also some Back to School tips and free printables on their webpage. Might not hurt to take a look? If you’re like me, any organizational help is most welcome!

Guess what!? We’re doing a giveaway again! Yes!
