Lamb’s Soapworks! ~Giveaway!

“Because even legends have to lather.” It made me grin when I read that. It is true, after all, it doesn’t matter who you are, you need to lather up and get clean (at least we sure *hope* you do!). Who are these legends and why are we lathering? Well, I’m not sure who the legends are, though some days I’m pretty sure I’m a legend – at not getting the laundry done, at not getting the dishes washed, but at successfully getting two kids out the door to school with their hair done and lunches in their bags! Haha!

However, the lathering part, that’s all about Lamb’s Soapworks! And let me tell you, if you need some pampering, if you just need a special bar of soap to make you feel special, or if your body is begging for some butter (that big W is coming soon and a lot of us dry right out come that season!), then I have just the place for you to visit! First off, she’s Canadian – yes, it’s all #MadeInCanada! From Airdrie, AB, we have delightful products for you! These are all handcrafted and made in small batches with pure sustainable ingredients. And judging by what I’m seeing (and smelling), Lara is passionate about her products and not just about creating the beautiful, but also about creating products that work beautifully!

Take, for example, the first product she sent me. It’s called Chai Tea Latte Bar. A few of you might remember that I have a bit of an addiction to Chai Tea. So why not have a soap that smells the same!? I see no problem! Haha! So this soap – yes – it totally smells like a Chai Tea Latte! No, I have not tasted it yet, I’ve been restraining myself admirably, thank you! But it doesn’t just smell lovely, it also works lovely! I use a loofah in the shower, and lathering up my loofah with my Chai Tea Latte soap has been working wonderfully! It lathers up superbly and those bubbles don’t just pop a moment later! Nope, you can cover yourself in bubbles! (Or is it only kids that are supposed to do that!? *sigh* I always forget I’m supposed to “adult” now! Haha!) I also really appreciate that this soap makes my skin feel nice and soft and not at all dry! In other words – it works fabulous and smells fabulous!

The second item I picked out to review was the Coconut Milk Bath Soak. Lara actually told me that *both* of these items are her absolute faves. In other words, I couldn’t have picked any better and there was no doubt I’d love them both. At least that’s how I took that – and guess what – it was true! The Coconut Milk Bath Soak is made with coconut milk powder, essential oils, sodium bicarbonate, cocoa butter, epsom salts, vitamin E and a couple other oils. Yup, they’re all ingredients I recognize! And quite a number of them are ones I know are good to have a soak in. I’d never have thought of coconut milk – but why not!? It smells oh so good! Oh, and with the vanilla as well, seriously, I think I’m more tempted to taste this one than the Chai Tea soap! And yes, I’ve had two lovely soaks, two lovely moments of pampering and it was wonderful! Honestly, my skin felt so silky after!

So now you’re wondering just what else Lara has to offer!? Yes, you’re right, she has more products on her list! She has Lotions and Butters, including a matching Vanilla Coconut hand and body lotion that just might have to find it’s way into my house! Then there’s the Salts, Soaks and Bath Bombs. I always think bath bombs are so much fun – as do my kids! She has four different bath salts, all of which sound wonderful! Need a bit of extra scrubbing action? Lara also offers plenty of scents of Scrubs, from Vanilla Cream and Coffee to Rosemary Peppermint! At the moment she has 27 different soaps listed, but keep an eye out, because that list is subject to change as she makes new batches of soap! There are also numerous lip balms and four different natural deodorants! I’m a big fan of keeping our products clean and natural – and that includes deodorant!

Oh, and if you’re trying to shop for someone and don’t know what to get them, Lara several Spa Gifts and Kits with which to spoil someone! They’re all beautiful and range from the small $13 two piece combo to the $48 six piece set!

Looking for natural products? Products that are #MadeInCanada? Products have healthy ingredients in them? Ones you don’t need to worry about using on your children, yourself, or anyone else? Then you need to check out Lara’s products! They’re works of art…..and, simply, they work! You can also follow her on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to keep your eye on all the lovely pretties she creates!
