Character Matters ~ GIVEAWAY! (2 Winners!)

Hard work, being disciplined, showing initiative, being honest, having respect for authority and an awareness and concern for others around us are a few of the character traits that are essential for success in life. Having strong character and social finesse are very important. However, building character in yourself or your children can take a lot of training, teaching and time.

As a mom, I know first hand how difficult and time-consuming it can be to help our growing families learn and use good character. Even I struggle with certain character traits at time….I can definitely vouch for the fact that patience is still hard – even as an adult!! Yet, our desire to see strong, good character in our children motivates us to not only model good character and Biblical virtues, but also to take intentional steps to train and teach our children what good character is and how to use it in their daily lives.

The key is finding simple, yet fun ways to teach and practice character. One of my favorite ways to do this is to read a “character story” to our children while they are eating breakfast in the morning. It’s a great way to start the day and to get them thinking about the correct way to respond in different situations that may come up throughout the day. Blue Manor Education is a great place to find all sorts of educational books (in print or digital copies). Their Character Set caught my attention right away and it has proven to be wonderful!  In fact, two of our older children sat and read through ALL the books right away. They loved them!

Currently, I’m working through reading them at the breakfast table. These stories are well written and capture the attention well – of both younger and older children! They are also a very nice length – not too long, but long enough to get the point across. 🙂

The Character Set from Blue Manor Education is a great way to either introduce these valuable character lessons and traits into your home, or to enforce the character traits that you’ve already been working on. These books are really a win-win deal. Your kids will love reading them, and they will learn valuable character lessons that will hopefully stick with them throughout their lives.

Blue Manor Education also has a fabulous library of FREE books that you can access for FREE! Check it out here.

Blue Manor Education is giving away TWO sets of (digital copies) of their Character books! In order to be one of these lucky winners please follow the instructions on the form below. Open worldwide! Contest ends October 19, 2017.
