Scholastic Monday ~ If You’re Thankful and You Know It!

We love to sing in our home. We don’t find time for it every week, but when we do, the whole family gets involved…with singing, playing instruments and of course actions (or maybe some never-seen-before dance moves! haha) One song that has been a favorite from the very beginning for the younger kids is “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” It’s easy to sing, and has all kinds of ways for you to add in imaginative actions.

This fall we’ve also been enjoying a new version of this song….and it all started with the Canadian title: If You’re Thankful and You Know It by Chrissy Bozik. The kids love to read….or SING….this book and it has all kinds of great reminders of things that we need to be thankful for. You know, things such as jumping into a pile of leaves, eating turkey and our friends and family. 🙂
