Surprise…it’s a Chick!

Have you ever seen a baby chick hatch? I have to admit, I’ve ever only seen it happen on YouTube…but I have held quite a few recently hatched chicks in real live…and they are so cute and fuzzy and utterly adorable! The thing is…that they quickly grow bigger…and just aren’t as cute and cuddly as they were at first. That is….unless you have a Little Live Pets Surprise chick!

Little Live Pets Surprise Chicks score 100% in the cute category and even act much like a live baby chick would. They hatch (over and over and over again πŸ˜‰ ) and once they’ve hatched they will chirp, hop and play all day. The exciting part for us was watching them hatch. You never know when that egg will decide to crack open. πŸ™‚

The Surprise Chick Single Pack has 5 different chicks to collect – one being the Limited Edition Golden Chick! Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to be the owner of that golden chick. Either way, these little surprise chicks are a lot of fun and are a great way to enjoy a mess-free, inexpensive “pet” in your home.

In addition to the Surprise Chick Single packs, you can also purchase the Surprise Chick House which is the perfect nest to place your egg inside. It will stay safe and sound until it hatches. Once it has hatched, the wall can be folded down and it’s time to watch your little chick go exploring.

Both these items are available from Toys β€˜R’ Us, Walmart, Mastermind Toys, London Drugs and Red Apple Stores.Β To find out more about Little Live Pets visit their website or facebook page.Β

We actually did have some eggs hatch at school (Biology project), they were kept in a little incubator. It’s quite amazing but you do want to ‘help’ when they start emerging, which of course wasn’t allowed. The chicks looked quite pitiful when they hatched and exhausted too.

  15. Debbie White Beattie says:

Although I don’t see the appeal of this I bet kids would like it
