Holiday Cheer is Everywhere

The decorations are hung, the advent calendar is in full swing, the Christmas program songs and parts are being learned and memorized and the gifts are getting wrapped and placed under the tree. These are all signs that one of my favorite seasons of the year is just around the corner! I love being able to share Christmas with my family and one of the ways we love to do this is to make meaningful memories together.

This year…some of our memories are being made with the help of Avon Canada. 🙂 In fact, we started a new tradition this year with Avon’s Holiday Cheer Advent Calendar with Pockets. This calendar is simple, fun, colorful and has open pockets so little treats and gifts can be easily placed inside. The kids love waking up every morning to a little treat – and for our family, it’s not just chocolates….so they have a new surprise to look forward to each morning! I’ve found that it doesn’t take a huge, fancy event to make Christmas meaningful and memorable and a simple advent calendar such as this one is a great place to start!

The there are the stockings…and gracing our “stocking wall” this year is one of these beautiful Covered in Luxe Stockings from Avon. They feel so velvety soft, and are just the right thing to hang by the fireplace, or in a special spot during the Christmas season. Of course, they are strong enough to hold a good amount of goodies too. *wink*

Another one of our favorite things to do during the cold winter months is play games. We really, enjoy games all year round…but we do tend to play them more now, when the weather is cold. And the Christmas season is the perfect time to peek into that game cupboard and pull out some favorites – or to add a new favorite to the list. 🙂

I remember playing Connect 4 with my cousins when I was young…and this game is definitely a classic. Avon has come up with a fun holiday themed version of Connect 4.  The Holiday Red and Gold Connect Game is easy to learn, fun to play, and if you’ve never tried it before this is the perfect year to create some holiday memories with a classic game.

One last little treat you might want to add to your table this year is the Go Golden Pineapple Tumbler. Now, I must admit that fancy, specialty cups like this aren’t really my thing as my house is filled with youngsters….and well, fancy cups just don’t last too long. This one however, is made from Stainless steel so it will likely hold up a bit better. The Pineapple Tumbler could make a fun addition to your table and it is kind a unique, fun way to enjoy your water, juice, etc.! 😉
