DK Discovery Day ~ Really Feel Trucks ~ GIVEAWAY!

It’s been a while since I’ve been thrown into the world of trucks, tractors, loaders and anything that drives. With 3 girls in the middle, we’ve been more focused on baby dolls and crafty things for the last few years. 😉 But now with the younger boys getting a bit older, it’s trucks, trucks and more trucks! So, you can imagine that Really Feely Trucks from DK Canada was an instant favorite for them!

Really Feel Trucks is a book that is perfect for young children. It is a durable board book that has real-life photography on each spread. It also has loads of extra bumpy patterns, tactile glitter, fluffy patches and a variety of other textures to touch, feel and explore. Both our 1 and 3 year old boys LOVE this book. With the simple, age-appropriate amount of text on each page,  I can even manage to read it to them before they decide it’s time to wiggle away and go do something else! 😉

Your children will love feeling the sticky mud on the loader, the bumpy tires on the monster truck, the rough grill on the concrete mixer and more. The book is small, durable and full of touch and feel textures to make reading time extra fun and captivating. It is a favorite in our home these days. 🙂

There are other books in this series over at DK Canada. The Really Feely series is wonderful for aiding in sensory development, language skills, and early reading skills, while also teaching favorite preschool subjects. They are always a favorite for the times we read together at home, for looking at during long road trips, etc. These little books would make a great gift idea or stocking stuff idea for the youngsters in your home!

DK Canada is giving one of our readers their own copy of Really Feely Trucks! In order to enter please follow the instructions on the form below. Open to Canada only. Contest ends January 1, 2018.
